Digital Haat is Bangladeshs first officially recognized online cattle market.
A combined effort of the fisheries and livestock ministry, the ICT Division, and the e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh, with technical assistance from the a2i program at the Prime Ministers Office, has resulted in the addition of 241 platforms to the marketplace at digitalhaat.gov.bd.
The market was established by enlarging the digital cattle market in Dhaka.
Customers can view the animals in person and communicate with the traders directly.
The Digital Haat will assist consumers in selecting the appropriate animal for sacrifice while guaranteeing physical separation to lower the risk of infection.
It will also help traders receive a fair price.
